The Jamestown Court Motel was built in the early 1950's during the formation of Lake Cumberland, the country's largest man made lake East of the Mississippi River. It has served as a mainstay for tourists, boaters, fishermen and travelers alike from all across the United States and abroad. After being closed for almost 2 years, the Court reopened in Summer 2009 under new ownership with renovated facilities, and added guest amenities including ground transportation services available to Motel guests.
